The B Award Goes To…

All Things Native.

It’s been about two weeks since I received my box from Native, the brand that creates personal care products that are free from aluminum, parabens and sulfates. There motto TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY. ITS THE ONLY PLACE YOU HAVE TO LIVE. My package included two bars of soap, body wash, deodorant and a mini deodorant. They call this the Set

As you all know I was a hairstylist, I have met so many ladies with interesting life stories. One in particular sticks in my mind to this day. I won’t use her name, I will call her Brec. Since that’s what I wanted to name Berkeley but Anthony said no! Anyway when Brec sat in my chair for the first time she had short hair and was growing out a pixie. Digging deeper into Brec’s life I found out she is a breast cancer survivor and she was growing out her hair from chemo. She started educating me on the importance of what we use on our bodies & things she wished she would have paid attention to sooner. She said Deodorant is an easy transition from one that is harmful to one that is more natural. So when Native contacted me and sent me their Set I was so excited and knew it was time to make the switch!

They give you tips for your pits! Making it an easy transition… haha to be honest it’s what we usually should be doing daily but with there products. Such as wash your under arms daily with soap and water than wipe dry to remove any excess oil’s and bacteria. As you’re making your transition to Native they also say less is more with the Deodorant saying to only apply 2 to 3 swipes under each arm. Finishing with a disclaimer that it can take up to 14 days to get maximum affects and not to give up. So far in my journey from switching deodorants it hasn’t been too bad I don’t know if it’s because I’m a new mom who rarely gets a shower, making the transition easier … which may sound gross but mommas out there you know what I’m talking about.

I chose the Eucalyptus and Mint which those two together is my favorite combo scent. They have other ones such as Rosè, Coconut & Vanilla and Cucumber & Mint. I can’t wait to try them all! If you have any questions you guys can message me about it or leave a comment Are you interested in trying Native? Use my code for 20% off your first purchase:

  1. I keep hearing great things about Native but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ve been looking for a better natural deodorant than the one I have, so I will definitely check this out!
